Broiled Feta with Honey

Looking for a quick appetizer for your next get-together?  Try this delicious salty-sweet dish that couldn’t be easier to make.

2 packages Valbreso French feta, each cut into six sticks
4 teaspoons My Brother’s extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons organic Acacia honey

Preheat broiler.  Divide feta evenly among 4 broiler-proof baking dishes and brush with oil.  Broil until golden, about 3 minutes.

Drizzle honey over cheese in each dish and sprinkle feta with ground black pepper. Serve with our crusty French bread.

Makes 4 servings.

Serve with Gunderloch Jean Baptiste Riesling for a not-too-sweet complement to the honey of this appetizer.
