Warm Balsamic Strawberries
Looking for a dazzling, easy way to serve
up some dessert after your holiday meals?
Try this super quick and warming dessert!
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and
halved
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon La Vecchia Dispensa 10-year
aged balsamic vinegar
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium
heat. Add the strawberry halves, sugar,
and aged balsamic vinegar.
Cook until the
strawberries are heated through and
darkened to a ruby red.
Place scoops of ice cream into dessert
bowls or stemmed glasses.
Spoon strawberries over the ice cream and serve.
Yields 4 servings
Pair with Heredias Ruby Porto or Quady Orange Muscat for the
perfect dessert!
