About Us
Who is TCC? The first clueless chick is Beth McNichol. Unfortunately, you won’t see much of her at the store since she lives in New Jersey. She’s keeping her day job to make sure the conservative banker in us is satisfied. She’s the number-crunching genius behind the scenes who keeps the rest of us on our toes. The second clueless chick is Anna Denys. You’re likely to see her at the shop on a regular basis, since she goes through complete withdrawl when she tries to take a day off! TCC knows that we could never make it without our competent and personable staff. Let’s introduce you to our dysfunctional wino family. Remember – ask them really hard to answer questions. They love it!
Tammy
Our first official hire! We call her one of our “Oh my God” girls because she always responds to the cheeses and wines with such enthusiasm. (Ask her if she likes the Saint Andre when you meet her—you’ll see what I mean.) Look for her during our Thursday evening tastings and some Saturdays.
Laura
Don’t let her quiet demeanor fool you, she’s a pistol. She let Kate struggle for her entire first evening with wrapping bottles before she said, “Do you want me to show you how to do that?” Look for her on the weekends.
Kate
She sings, she counsels, and now she bags bottles! Many of you already know our jazz singer. Look for her on a more regular basis during our tastings and during our Jazz Nights.
Tracy
Probably the one that we worry most about never clearing a dime in this place. Can you say direct reinvestment? Look for the soft-spoken redhead during our tastings.
Nicole
Nicole runs the cheese counter on Sunday afternoons and is our resident techie. Whenever we’re looking for a fresh idea, we go to her. She came up with the idea of featuring recipes in our newsletter to help you incorporate our products into your home cooking. Ask her for her favorite
Jean or do you say WebJeanie?
Yes, we’ve convinced our web developer that this is the best place on earth to work. We figured that if she could put up with us changing our minds a million times with the website, she could handle us on a more regular basis. Stop by to meet her during the tastings on Thursdays and some Saturdays. Shameless plug – if you like our website, give her a call at (815) 341-5174.
